Amfori-BSCI
Vinga is a member of the amfori Sustainability Platform (formerly known as the amfori BSCI platform), a network of European companies that want to improve working conditions in the global supply chain. amfori's more than 1,300 members have all signed the Code of Conduct that is the network's foundation. Alongside other amfori members that offer us invaluable support, we work to implement this Code and make our supply chain more ethical. The amfori Code of Conduct is rooted in the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and key conventions of the International Labour Organization. We support our suppliers' efforts to become more sustainable employers.
As a member of the amfori initiative, we actively use the network's Code of Conduct (which consists of 11 principles) to do so: our manufacturing partners undertake to follow this Code and their factories are continuously audited, allowing us to assess whether the Code is correctly implemented.

Suppliers guide
To clearly inform our business partners of our general requirements and expectations, we've drawn up a contract that we call our 'Suppliers Guide'. We expect all our suppliers to sign this Guide, which, among other things, contains detailed information about our policies, our requirements in terms of chemicals, the legislation that is applicable to our products, our delivery terms and information about packaging, documentation and handling of samples.
Vinga Gungzhou
Four colleagues – Flora, Michelle, Bella and Ivy – currently work in Vinga's office i Guangzhou, China. They are responsible for tracking orders and monitoring suppliers; it is thanks to them that we are able to cooperate so closely with our local partners. The team allows us to perform quality control checks at our factories before items are shipped, or screen factories we're considering as a potential new partners.
Hope Primary School
Vinga has been supporting a school in southern China, in the city of Lijiang in Yunnan, for years, providing the school with educational materials and other supplies that facilitate and support local children's education. We set up the project because we wanted to make a direct difference in the country where most of our production takes place.
