A classic cast iron pot from the Monte series. Thanks to the excellent heating properties of the cast iron, it is ideal for stews and slow cooking. In addition, it has a thick base which prevents the ingredients from burning easily. The lid is fitted with small pins that allow the condensed steam to be evenly distributed over the ingredients - a self-diffusing function. The interior consists of black enamel with larger pores that create a somewhat rougher surface. This causes the pores to fill with oil over time and develops a non-stick sheen similar to that of cast iron. Suitable for all types of cookers, including induction cookers.
